Short review: Extremely well scripted film about what might have happened in one company the night before the market crash. With a cast like this, how can you go wrong?

Long Review:
For all of you Wallstreet investment bankers, don’t be scared of being villanized by this movie. Though Margin Call does spend time asking hard questions about the practices of investment bankers, it also points some blame on the rest of us who buy more than we can really afford and getting mortgages for houses bigger than should buy.
But that’s the big picture implications of the fall of the market. Margin Call stars big names like Demi Moore, Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, and others you will recognize …. (he played Spock in the most rest Star Trek movie). It is a realistic, albeit theoretical story of what would happen if an investment firm knew the market would crash the night before…and they might do.
This film is well scripted, excellently acted and a smartly executed. Movies like Wallstreet and the Boiler Room brought the greed of money and the risk of the American dream into question and points blame squarely on bad guys doing illegal things, where Margin Call basically explains that even when nothing illegal is done, because of the way our market works and how EVERY investment bank is doing the same thing, if something goes bad it can get really, really bad. The question then, is only…what do you do if you know a crash is about to happen?
